Our story
Crafted for feel. Built with intention.
Wegen Picks began with a professional model maker looking closely at the problems in his own playing tools.

Model-maker precision
A small catalogue. A great deal of detail.
Michel’s professional background is in model making: work where dimensions, surfaces and repeatability matter.
Models serve gypsy jazz, bluegrass, acoustic jazz and blues, mandolin and players with a specific custom need.
The picks are specialist tools made to be played, compared, worn in and replaced when necessary.
Why the details matter
Grip. Edge. Shape. Thickness.
These are not decorative specifications. Together they determine how much pick sits between the fingers and how the working edge meets the string.
The working process
-
Shape
A model begins with its intended dimensions and playing job.
-
Grip
Grooves or concavity help the pick settle in the hand.
-
Bevel
The working edge is prepared for a controlled release.
-
Inspect
Each small-batch pick is checked before it leaves the workshop.
